We practice a new model of medicine that incorporates the best diagnostic tools and technologies from conventional medicine, as well as emerging tests and tools that help us identify the critical imbalances that are at the root of all illness. Leading edge research has provided a new method of diagnosis and treatment, called Systems or Functional Medicine. By understanding the core systems in the body, how they become imbalanced, and how to restore balance, most chronic illnesses can be prevented or cured.

At Bodhi, all the physicians are board certified in Naturopathic Medicine and are trained in functional, integrative and nutritional medicine. Our physicians have specialized training in using food as a medical therapy. Our physicians and care coordinators work together closely as a team and utilize a comprehensive approach to health. The Initial Patient Experience

1. Medical History: each patient is asked to complete a comprehensive written medical history prior to their appointment to enable our Physicians to study your history before you arrive. This form is available online so that you can complete it electronically and submit via secure connection. Click here to get started.

2. Comprehensive Initial Consultation: our Physician will perform a comprehensive patient assessment with you including discussing your health concerns, health history, and your health goals. A physical exam will also be performed. They physician will also determine what testing will be needed in order to complete the assessment. It is only through comprehensive lab testing that we are able to effectively ascertain a patient’s health challenges. Testing requirements will vary by person.

3. Bodhi Educational Lab Review and Treatment Plan Consultation: Once the lab results have been received and reviewed by the physician, our team will put together a recommended treatment protocol for each patient based on their health concerns and health goals. The physician and care coordinator will meet with the patient to review the protocol.

Ongoing Patient Experience

At Bodhi, we are with you every step of the way. As you begin your treatment program, our Care Coordinators will help you schedule your visits with the physician and for services at times that are convenient for you. Depending on what program you take part in, we will likely see you at least once per week, if not more, for the first few months. We are steady in our approach, but check in with patients regularly to make sure we have set the right course and plan. Adjustments are made when necessary to optimize the results. We will continue to educate and support you with your health goals. And, the more you know, the more inspired you will become.
