Medical Assistant, (MA)- Full Time Employee

Clinical Requirements
- Certification that is current and in good standing.
- Experience of 1+ years working in a physician’s office, hospital, and/or blood draw station.
- Understand and be able to follow medical directions from the physicians, RN’s, and LPN’s.
- Show competence in performing tasks, such as yet no limited to: taking vitals, recording medical information in electronic medical records, IM injections, mixing of IV bags, gaining IV access, and willingness to be trained to do other specific therapies, managing supply lists, processing blood, filling out laboratory requisitions, inventory tracking.
- Be positive and personable with the patients.
- Be a positive motivator and a great co-worker.
- Be a quick learner, self-motivated worker, organized
General
- Organizes work effectively and appropriately to finish in a timely manner, and demonstrates the ability to produce results.
- Demonstrates interest and enthusiasm towards work.
- Contributes to increased morale and positive attitude in the department and facility.
- Demonstrates the ability to accept change.
- Requires minimal supervision in daily tasks
