Our cancer treatment protocol always includes two therapies as the backbone of the treatment plan. High doses of intravenous vitamin C and major auto hemotherapy therapy (blood ozone) have been administered millions of times to address cancer and are used very often at our facility. It is known that intravenous vitamin C can directly kill cancer cells through hydrogen peroxide, decrease HIF (hypoxia inducing factor is necessary for some cancer cells to stay alive), decrease VEG-F (vascular endothelial growth factor is a way cancer cells recruit more blood flow to grow and spread), and support the immune system among other important functions in the body.

What if I’m getting chemotherapy for my cancer? Can I still come to Bodhi Body Integrative Medical Centers?
Yes, by following these three tenets we are able to support our cancer patient’s immune systems while they are receiving chemotherapy, radiation, or have recently undergone surgery. We are able to optimize the patient’s immune function, increase white blood cell (WBC) counts, increase the effectiveness of chemotherapy, and decrease chemotherapy side effects.
We work with patients who are about to begin chemotherapy or radiation, who are currently undergoing chemotherapy or radiation, patients who no longer have chemotherapy as an option, and patients who have chosen not to go perform chemotherapy or radiation.
I have a lot of questions about nutritional supplements and what I should be taking. Will Bodhi Body recommend any or help me choose what to take?

In 2002 a study was performed where 40 women taking Tamoxifen, for metastatic breast cancer, were split into groups of 20. One group was given 20mg of melatonin along with the Tamoxifen and the other a placebo with their Tamoxifen. The one-year survival rate for the Tamoxifen and placebo group was 24% and the Tamoxifen and melatonin group was 63%.
During chemotherapy I’m concerned about my immune systems function, is there anything that Bodhi Body can do to help?
Yes. Chemotherapy, unfortunately, damages both healthy and cancerous cells in the body. The immune system and the gastrointestinal system are two of the places damaged most by chemotherapy. Typically we see this in our patients on their lab work as decreased white blood cell (WBC) counts and clinically as nausea or the loss of the desire to eat because the patient’s stomach is so upset.
