Essential to our sense of self and the reflection of that self we wish to share with others who are special to us, the human sex organs are heavily obsessed over, perhaps none more so than the female breasts. To lose a breast to breast-cancer is a blow that strikes a woman on multiple levels and requires strength and resilience that those who have not suffered such a loss could never totally understand. Women who have suffered this loss embark upon a journey to confront much of what fundamentally terrifies us as humans; loss of self, fear of death, fear of abandonment, sometimes a spiritual crisis, and a host of other painful roads they must not merely survive but walk down and experience to emerge with strength, dignity and a renewed sense of self and personal power.
When confronted with making choices in such an instance it can be very difficult to determine what it is that is the right thing to do. Conventionally, the cancerous and surrounding tissue is surgically cut out of the body which is then flooded in chemotherapy in conjunction with heavy pharmaceuticals (both of which carry their own host of issues) in order to prevent the cancer from spreading and pick up any particles that may have gone unnoticed. Often times radiation treatment will also be used greatly increasing the probability of re-emergence or new cancers elsewhere in the body. Following a mastectomy, the breast can be re-built and in a small way, some of the disease’s delineating effects mediated and deflected. Unfortunately, these well-known and often applied treatments wreak havoc on the body and carry a statistically low total success rate over the course of a lifetime.
A superior way to treat breast cancer, and almost any other cancer, is to arm the body to fight its own battle and reduce or eliminate those elements that brought the cancer about in the first place. Like nearly all cancers, the body will heal itself if given the tools. High Dose Vitamin C and Ozone Therapy applied by a talented physician in conjunction with one another ‘sweep and clear’ the body of cancer along with a supplementation protocol aimed at eliminating the root issue. Following treatment, adjusting lifestyle habits, flooding the body in anti-oxidants and other anti-cancer elements and consistent monitoring are great ways to minimize possible reoccurrence.
Although not every aspect of breast cancer and its causes can be agreed upon in the medical community, all physicians of any practice agree that regular monitoring of the breast is essential. The most innovative way to do this, in addition to regular self-care, is Thermography. Thermography spares the body the radiation associated with many other scanning devices, the discomfort of poking and prodding and preserves the sense of security rendered vulnerable in a conventional mammography. A simple scan, Thermography detects heat signatures. Areas of the body that have or are in danger of developing cancerous tissue read differently as a result of their increased density. Simple to understand, very effective, minimally invasive and accompanied by no toxic elements, Breast Thermography is an excellent tool for early detection ad prevention.
Ultimately, the culprit in nearly all Breast Cancer is Estrogen Dominance. The same all-important hormone whose levels make a woman a woman, if poorly regulated by the body, turn against her. Estrogen Dominance emerges as a result of several factors.
Plastics produce Xenoestrogens, artificially elevating the natural level of total Estrogens. Probably the largest and most controllable contributor to Xenoestrogens for the typical American is microwave foods. Heated in plastic or plastic treated containers, Xenoestrogens leach into a food of already poor quality and drastically increase the probability of Breast Cancer. Plastic drinking bottles exposed to heat, pesticides and other industrial chemicals are other sources of Xenoestrogens in our environment.
The sharply declining iodine levels of most Americans can be directly correlated to the rapid rise of Estrogen Dominance (and thus Breast Cancer) and thyroid dis-function. Farmland in America is over-used and under nourished, yielding foods much lower in nutrient quality than in the past. Other factors, such as one’s geographical access to sea-foods high in iodine along the coasts verses plant produce dependant iodine consumption in the main-land are also statistically relevant. Iodine is one of the body’s main regulators of estrogen. Supplementing iodine into the diet is inexpensive an invaluable to breast thyroid health.
A simple test from collected saliva (Salivary Hormones) gives physicians an accurate look at total hormone balance in the body. Should you be estrogen dominant there are several treatment options depending on your age, life-style etc. Using Bio-Identical Progesterone is the most direct approach to mediating total estrogens. Progesterone is the body’s balancing hormone. There are also herbal formulas to reduce Estrogens or raise progesterone and simple life-style choices often produce substantial results.
Although these are only a general sample of contributing factors and possible treatments, prevention and education are absolutely invaluable to those who desire long, healthy vibrant lives. Simple things can make a profound difference. Eliminate micro-waved foods, eat organic (thus avoiding pesticides), take an appropriate iodine supplement and monitor yourself regularly in addition to a yearly Thermography.

Dr. Williamson is very knowledgeable about all aspects of medicine and has given me hope. I am still undergoing treatment but feel I have found the place to get the help I need.
